L8insights is a personal space for reflection, where I seek to clarify my ideas and share a perspective on digital systems and their impact on society. I do not write to provide certainties, but to explore what deserves to be understood and questioned.
My point of view comes from the Layer 8: the human layer of systems. In cybersecurity, it is often considered the weakest link. I believe, on the contrary, that it is the only layer capable of questioning these infrastructures and choosing to protect what truly matters: society itself, beyond the mere pursuit of efficiency.
My experience places me at the heart of the architectures that shape our lives, mainly in cybersecurity and digital governance. I have observed that these systems often tend to sustain themselves and forget their purpose, sometimes to the detriment of human well-being and our collective capacity to decide. I observe, analyse, and question these dynamics to understand how they might better serve society rather than constrain it.
This blog reflects that approach: it shares critical reflections that connect technical analysis with human impact, aiming to help understand where we are and how we might move forward differently. I mainly write in French and use tools to translate my texts for a wider audience: some nuances may be lost, but the intention remains to convey the reflection with clarity.
