Chapter 3.1 · Selecting the baseline¶
Two Lessons. The first sharpens the distinction between a law, a standard, a framework and a contract, and explains why selecting what to comply with is a real decision rather than an obligation to do everything. The second makes the choice for Scaldimet: one baseline that satisfies the most drivers at once.
Objectives¶
- Tell laws, standards, frameworks and contracts apart in operational terms, and explain why selection matters.
- Choose Scaldimet's baseline (CyFun as the primary, ISO 27001 for the customer, NIS2 as the legal floor) and justify the level.
